Conti produce high quality espresso machines in a sleek modern style, that offer an excellent mix of design and features. They are considered mid range machines that deliver far beyond what their price suggests. This version is the Monte Carlo automatic 2 group.
The Monte Carlo is the top of the range model from Conti. It features multi-boiler design (one boiler per group plus a service boiler for steam and hot water). Each boiler can be controlled by its own built in digital controller, allowing you to alter temperatures and isolate each boiler to save energy during downtime. Standard features include volumetric dosing, adjustable power to accommodate all installations including in mobile businesses, cool touch/non stick steam wands, teflon lined portafilters, competition baskets and shower screens, retractable cup stands.
The Monte Carlo features two separate hot water taps, both with adjustable mixing valves to control the amount of fresh cold water that is blended with the hot water coming from the boiler. This is great for tea and black coffee, and also reduces the likelihood of burns as the water is well below boiling. Both taps can be programmed on two separate buttons to allow you to dispense two different quantities of water.
If you are looking for a serious 2-group machine with numerous advanced features, and complete control over water temperatures for speciality coffee production, then this is the machine for you. This is an excellent option for busy but quality focused businesses looking for a machine that sits below other brands offering similar features.
The group heads are chromed brass, while the body combines aluminium and steel parts to ensure robust build quality across the entire range. The entire work area is lit by a series of energy-efficient white-light LEDs, to provide a clear view of every detail.
The Monte Carlo offers excellent ergonomics, perfectly reflected in the innovative control panel with quick-response buttons. The large buttons and intuitive graphic interface ensure total control of machine functions.
Startup timers can be activated to switch the machine on and off at opening and closing times, as well as being able to independently turn off the brew boilers as and when required. Automatic back-flush cycles make cleaning the machine quick and simple for staff.
